IT Application Developer (Billing)

Overview Provide support and maintenance for the Billing applications within Production, Test and Development environments. Perform day-to-day maintenance of the application systems in operation, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues and issues resolution or escalation. Develops procedures for the solution of well-defined routine business problems with a high level of reliability, execution and speed.  Converts these procedures into applications and programs required for computer solutions.  All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Configuration management:Install and configure new software. Analyze system logs and identify potential issues with installs Perform routine audit of systems and software. Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes. Assist performance Tuning team on System performance tuning activities. Configure, add, and delete file systems as required Research, perform root cause analysis and resolve problems in the Production, Test and Development environments. Maintain incident tickets and service request cases in a timely and efficient manner. Respond promptly to application alerts and issues and follow through to resolution within the established SLA. Manage communication on the issues and problem statement of the issue to the customers. Escalate production impact details and able to elaborate to management.  Identify opportunities to improve processes via automation. Exhibits exceptional attention to detail. Meet with business unit representatives to define and evaluate routine business automation needs.   Interpret business specifications to prepare for analysis/design functions. Participate in systems analysis, general systems design, and detail systems design. Maintain in depth functional knowledge of the supported applications and interdependencies. Generate, test, and document program code. Debug and resolve problems of moderate difficulty. Modify existing applications programs or writes new programs of basic to moderate complexity and scope, working with applications systems designs and specifications and utilizing standards, procedures, and techniques. Assist higher-level programmers in the development of complex programs. Assist developers with setup and debugging issues. Answer technical questions and assist users. Responsible to acquire training, as needed, and will learn user functions, organization, and role in the enterprise to the extent required. Qualifications Technical knowledge and skills: Windows 2008 and higher jBoss 6.x EAP, jBoss 7.x CE (preferredexperience with jBoss application deployments) SQL Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2 (ability to create and execute scripts) Java/JDK 1.6, 1.7, 1.8 knowledge (preferred) Experience with IIS, C#, VB.Net is a plus. Ability to handle multiple complex tasks at once Ability to work well with team members, customers and management. Possesses excellent communication skills - written and oral, interpersonal and organizational. College degree in Computer Science, Management Information Science, Business Administration or related field preferred. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
