The Oakwood years are a very special time for our families, growing life skills, learning the game, and creating a new wave of passion for our sport! A preliminary objective for all Academy players is to play at the collegiate level and become a successful student-athlete.
For the special ones, it is to become a national team member, a professional player, and potentially a world class talent.
Primary Objectives:
To strive to develop a nationally competitive youth development program with an emphasis on Youth National Team selections, NCAA college placements and the creation of future professionals To drive the vision of the Academy and Oakwood Soccer Club through strategic planning, sound operational management and effective leadership of people.
Reports to:
Sporting Director, Executive Director Required
Qualifications:
US Soccer A License.
Minimum of 3 plus years in similar senior leadership capacity.
Comprehensive understanding of youth soccer landscape.
Preferred
Qualifications:
US Soccer Academy Director License Degree in related field (Kinesiology, Sport Coaching, Teaching etc.
) Collegiate Playing / Coaching Experience Experience working within elite youth development space (Girls Academy, ECNL Girls, USLW, WPSL) Equivalent foreign coaching qualifications.

- Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of successful management - Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to set goals and objectives and develop action plans - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse club members.
