Temporary, 3 months (with the possibility to go longer) Job Summary As a Warehouse Distribution Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating shipments with domestic and international logistics companies, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods.
In addition, you will handle printing delivery notes and pick tickets for our warehouse team to process.
This role requires strong skills in SAP and Excel, as well as the ability to assist in cycle counting activities.
Job Duties Coordinate and manage international shipments with logistics partners such as DHL and FedEx.
Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of shipments, including printing delivery notes and pick tickets.
Communicate with internal teams to ensure proper order fulfillment and timely shipment processing.
Collaborate with the warehouse team to prioritize and organize incoming and outgoing shipments.
Utilize SAP and Excel to manage inventory, track shipments, and generate reports as needed.
Assist in cycle counting activities to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to optimize warehouse operations.
Interface with sales, projects and shop department manager(s) to meet their requirements and expectations.
Solve problems as required.
Verify material is received, stored and accounted for in agreement with the Inventory Management System (SAP) Ability to assist Receiving personnel if required.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and best practices.
Requirements:
AS degree in business, or equiv.
supply chain experience 5-10 years' work experience in related field 3 plus years of experience working in a domestic & international shipping / receiving department.
Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel necessary SAP, experience required.
Some evening and weekend work may be required.
